May He save you from lies and false doctrines of all kinds, mainstream and fringe, ancient and recent, obvious and subtle.
May He save you from the wayward wife who has left the Husband of her youth and may you never be numbered among her children.
Why does Paul say that they “love in the Spirit” and not just that they “love”? All mention of “love” (ἀγάπη, agápē, G26) in the Book of Colossians (except for in Col 3:19 about husbands and their wives) is for the brothers/saints [Col 1:4; 2:2; 3:14].
